Car Park - Update
The Wednesdayite car park, on the current site, will be open for the last ever match day this Sunday from 9:30am. The car park's last usage will be on 30th June for Owls in the Park, after which it will be handed back to the developers to commence groundworks on the new retail park. See here for plans for the site,
We have searched the area for alternatives but as was expected a direct replacement cannot be found.
We are, however, currently close to getting an agreement The Sheffield College , Hillsborough Campus, to use their car park on match days.
However as the capacity will be around 200 cars(we currently have 237 permit holders plus 68 disabled permit holders). Also due to constraints of the car park we will NOT be able to offer any pay on the day parking. Parking will therefore only be available for season permits.
Should we secure an agreement, permits will only initially be available to persons who had a permit in 2018/19 and be subject to them joining Wednesdayite for 2019/20 before purchasing their permit on a first come first served basis.
We expect these to be on sale from 1st July 2019 so put his date in your diary.
Food bank collection -THIS SUNDAY
On Sunday we will be donating 50% of our car park takings as well as collecting cash and/or food donations for the foodbank of PXI Projects
