    COVID RESTICTIONS

    Wednesdayite Travel in covid times

We are very aware that we need to protect our coach users on long coach journeys to away matches and so we have decided with the advice of Wifreda Beehive (our chosen coach provider) to ask everyone to wear a mask whilst on the coach. The reasons are:

    1. It is a confined space
    2. Long journeys
    3. Long periods between stops
    4. Respect for the worries of other passengers
    5. We will continue to learn as we have more experience but feel we have to start with the maximum protection for our users.

We are aware it is no longer a legal requirement to wear a mask and that some people no longer wish to wear one, so if you prefer not to wear a mask please choose an alternative travel method.

If you arrive without a mask you will be refused to board the coach. A limited number of Wednesdayite face masks will be available for purchase at £5 each.

If you are exempt from wearing a mask you will need to register after booking, as you will not be allowed to board the coach without a mask or a registration. Please send proof or reason for the exemption to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. as soon after booking as possible

It goes without saying do not travel if you feel unwell or suspect you might have Covid or have been instructed to self-isolate.  Refunds/credits will be made without question as long as you inform within 12 hours of you being requested to self-isolate by the NHS, again please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your name and dates of isolation.

Travellers will be able to remove masks  whilst seated during the coach journey.

The coaches will still have a toilet but if you need to use it between the stops please use the wipes after use and dispose of them in the bin provided to prevent blocking the toilet and making it unusable for anyone else.

Wednesdayite will continue to review these Covid Guidelines/Conditions to reflect any changes in the severity of the pandemic and relevant legislation.

PLEASE RESPECT THE FEELINGS OF YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS WHO MAY BE VULNERABLE

Tuck shop - to avoid people moving around the coach the usual tuck shop will NOT be in operation instead only bottles of water at 60p per bottle (2 for £1) and the steward will come around the coach about every hour to sell these.

Bingo/quiz - please bring your own pen - wrapped wednesdayite pens will be available to purchase for just £1 for you to keep.

Rubbish - No plastic bags will be provided to put your rubbish in therefore please put your own rubbish in you own bag and either dispose at any stop or take home with you.
