Besides providing matchday services and Sheffield based events, communication by Wednesdayite through online newsletters is an attempt to reach out to the wider fanbase.

Yorkshire Coast Owls is thrilled to be affiliated with Wednesdayite and embrace it's values, providing services as needed and opportunities to interact with other Owls on a local level. The formation of the YCO is indicative of the growing fanbase and our affiliation reinforces our unity, after all we're all Wednesday aren't we?"

The first meeting of the Yorkshire Coast Owls saw over a dozen fans come together to celebrate their love for SWFC - and we're delighted to give what assistance we can to help them spread the good word of Wednesdayism across the beautiful Yorkshire Coast!

It's going to be great to see the flags and banners from every local supporters group flying in Fortress Hillsborough this season - and we hope that still more groups choose to become affiliate members of Wednesdayite and play their part in the vibrant SWFC fans scene."
